only time will really tell. The truth is you are still bonding 3 materials together. Thats why with mine I actually cut the sideskirts into two parts. The part that went on the fenders and the part that went on the rest of the car to minimize flex and I also have fiberglass fenders so i know that the fender section will NEVER crack. Even with all the precautions I did though on the other half of the sideskirts though(the part attached to the metal), I am still anxious to see just how long it will last. The bosy shop said it will never crack and they guarantee it, but they also said they would NOT have guaranteed it if I did not think of cutting the sideskirts into two parts. Only time will really tell, but after 1500 miles I didn't see anything. As far as people that mold the ENTIRE sideskirt to the body of a car....all I can say is agree with bernie and it will crack.
